Geronimo Power strives to provide all the services and tools to enable all of our users to fully utilize our website capabilities. We’ve made a conscious effort to deliver a consistent user experience to people with a wide range of disabilities, including low vision. We have used the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – part of a series of Web accessibility guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Accessibility Initiative – to help make our content accessible for disabled users. In 1998, the U.S. Congress amended the Rehabilitation Act (the “Act”) to require federal agencies to make their electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities. Under Section 508 of the Act, federal agencies must give disabled employees and members of the public access to information that is comparable to the access available to others. While Section 508 of the Act does not require other non-federal websites to comply with those requirements, we have used the Act’s requirements as a guide in the development of our website to provide accessibility for our users with disabilities.
