Lakeside Solar & Storage Project

The Lakeside Solar & Storage Project is a proposed up to 200 megawatt (MW) nameplate facility being developed in Muskegon County, Michigan. The Project will span approximately 1,575 acres and will be connected to the electric grid via the local substation. The project is anticipated to positively impact the local economy by producing significant tax revenue, project construction and operation jobs, and contributions through a charitable fund or host community agreement. These contributions are above and beyond any tax revenue delivered by the project. The goal of these contributions will be to provide direct benefit and value to the entire community touched by the Project. The Project is estimated to avoid approximately 190,200 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually during operation, which is the equivalent of taking an estimated 44,300 cars off the road for a year or providing the equivalent electrical usage of an estimated 39,600 homes each year.
